Just after reading: Truman Capote "Other Voices, Other Rooms. And if I may quote from this: "Trained parrots tell more truth than most"... "His mind was absolutely clear. He was like a camera waiting for its subject to enter focus. [...] he stopped and looked back at the bloomless, descending blue, at the boy he had left behind.
And with these I worked on my portrait skills and on the transparency of acrylic paint (more water works better then medium or a gel). And you can use a soft broad-round marder 22 for larger fill as well. 20101228 was painted in green-orange, then "inverted" and the re-inverted for depth/light in the colors and strokes.
